Frequently Asked Questions

How Old Must I Be?

Anyone 16 years of age or older may enroll. We've lost count of the 50-60 year olds whom we've successfully taught to drive (Our oldest student was 84). Even the most nervous and highly sensitive person can learn to drive with confidence after his sessions with our competent staff.

Professional Instructors

All of our instructors have had college courses in driver-training and teaching techniques--in addition to our own rigid training classes. Each has been carefully selected after extensive competition wherein they ranked at the top of their class. Judging was based on background, appearance, ability to express themselves, patience, and an understanding of human nature.

Lessons

The first lesson is 45 minutes in duration and is strictly private. Our instructors pick you up and return you to your home or place of business at the end of each lesson.

The second and subsequent lessons are taught for 11/2 hours (a double lesson). Our in-depth research has proven that students will learn faster  and retain more by covering two lessons at each appointment.

Toward the end of your instructional period, arrangements can be made with your instructor to combine four consecutive lessons into one long trip. A trip of several hours duration can be made to any upstate location. Discount packages are also available upon request.

Please remember in adverse weather conditions, our instructors are anxious to make you a completely confident driver under any traffic situation. We welcome the opportunity to take you out in the rain, snow, and under nighttime driving conditions.

  2. Get the big picture - See all around the car.
  3. Keep your eyes moving - At least every two seconds.
